Liberty cap ID - Garden in Ireland
    #11361822 - 11/01/09 12:22 PM (8 years, 19 days ago)

I found these today in my garden. I want to be sure before I take them that they are indeed Liberty Caps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Where do you live? I thought they only grew in the Pacific Northwest. I saw some just like that the other day, but left them because I was not sure. They were growing on and around rotting wood. Has anyone else found liberty caps in GA? The area was not pastureland, but was very wet, and very rich in organic matter. The stipes were white, brittle, and they curled up when broken. I guess I should go take some pictures.

Another question, do all active psilocybe species bruise blue and smell like cucumbers?

We are sorry for hi jacking your thread. That was our first find and we were not even members of this site yesterdy. Because of that silly 30 posts rule we couldnt start a thread and needed to find out if they were Liberty Caps. Thats the reason.

That was just a quote of that jackass's post in the last page. people stop quoting that jackass's comment. and acknowledging it. Admin solve problem.

wtf GA/weiliiiiiiireland/libs:badcomputer:

You have never made a mistake in your life im sure

You are the reason many people on here, including Alan and some of the other mods, say weilii hunters are a different breed of hunter.

No need to be rude because the guy made a mistake.

I bet your a charm to be around when dosed up, talk about weak sauce kid. :crackhead:

Yeah it's not a big deal...I'm glad our thread was chosen to verify those tasty libs, even if it was off topic.
