Fuligo septica?

Pine needles

None

Stem:
None

Cap:
Yellow balls

N/A

None

Other information:
I know it isn't technically even a fungus, but I was just curious if this is the dog vomit slime mold or not; and wanted to share it's coolness with my Shroomery pals....

Don't think it's Fuligo septica, it's more 'fluffy' and not 'balls' as far as I know but a cool find regardless.

Yeah, I didn't think so either really, I just couldn't find much info on any yellow slime molds but that one.

I doubt it, but anyone know of any good slime mold sites? :shrug:

here's an old sporulated fuligo septica from my garden in Florida.

It was really cool to water it, just threw up clouds and clouds of spores.
