Its about four inches tall. rich purple suede like cap. I think the gills are alternate and its growing in leaves and pine needles in the woods. Two are also grown together

I have to get a camera at the house it stained my fingers carrying it out and I see some brown in the gills

well that was fast. yeah that does appear to match .it has a sweat smell too.so its edible. i know where a bunch of them are but are they worth eating

How do you know its not clitocybe nuda? Take a spore print please.

Yeah i think it is cortinarius, the cobwebby veil remnants, and they have an orangish tint wich is probably fallen spores. Still take a spore print though, if you want.

Also it's kinda dark for a blewit, has a suede like cap without any waves nor an inrolled margin.

im done with it now. i bet the sport print would be brown i saw some tint on the girlls. that was a cool lookin shroom though.
