Just picked these mushrooms.

Just been looking for some liberty caps and picked these. Just wondering if they are liberty caps.

Habitat:
Long grass. Steep hillside in the UK.

Gills:
The gills are dark brown.

Stem:
Various lengths from 5cm to 10cm. Thin and fragile.

Cap:
The caps are up to 1cm in diameter and are conical .

Spore print color:
Really dark purple (in my opinion)

Bruising:
Brown

I also found these and don't think they are liberty caps. The cap is more spherical and they have thicker stems. Apart from the smaller mushrooms on the right, which I'm unsure about. Any ideas?

Also, in the top picture is there enough for one or two people and are the ones that don't look too fresh worth bothering with?

the first pic look like mostly liberty caps...the sixth mushroom from the left doesn't look right. There doesn't appear to be any libs in your second photo. Nice finds! :thumbup:

Thanks for the help. Would you say I'd need more for 2 people and are the older more bruised liberty caps worth keeping?

Just filtered through the caps in the top pic and found 4 with darker stems and slightly darker caps. Are these ok? Thanks again.

I Would not use them think those 4 are no libs,

They are also missing the most importend nipple on top :smile:

In the second pic on the top. The ones on the left side it looks like you may have some P. Strictipes. Except for the smallest one. Your last pics looks like all but I would print them to be sure
