Yeah that's them. I'm not telling you they're safe though.

If you are going to eat them they need to be cooked or dried thoroughly.

That's them, but just cooking them fresh wont convert the ibotenic acid, they must be dried.

I seen some of these not logn back which i knew grew them the year before but they where a caramel brown colour. Do they fade the older they get?

They fade, they dont get darker. You likely found a different Amanita sp.

I think they fade slightly ..... they definitely begin to loose those white markings they have on the top as they mature. I got some pics i might post up in a while in a new thread....

Yeah i think they where yellow but it was in low light. hopefully they will pop back up soon :]

Thanks guy.  I'm thinking about drying them in the oven, then making them with scrambled eggs!  I'll start out with one cap.
