This is a place for people to tell stories of Halloweens past.
Maybe an encounter with something supernatural, or something otherwise out of the ordinary that would be good for a laugh or made you think or whatever.

halloween my sophomore year of college, me and a group of friends were rolling like 8 deep into the woods on campus to smoke a bowl at "the bench" (a common stoner spot). whilst there lighting up, i hear something rustling leaves off in the distance. i tell everyone to shut up and peer into the darkness. it looks like some soft blue light is bobbing and blinking.
as the blue light gets closer, we realized it was some guy walking from the heart of the forest towards us, lighting his way with his phone. he wasn't wearing any pants. just boxers and a blazer. he stopped at the bench, asked us for directions to the main road, and then moved on.
it's not often you see someone hiking the trail in just boxers and a blazer. or in the pitch dark. we all had a good lol.

I saw a kid get his head cracked open with a lead pipe and his candy stolen while trick or treating in middle school
The kid was kind of a douche bag

Heehee, now we're rolling. Guys without pants and children beaten with pipes.
There used to be this guy who would dress up like Death and go trick or treating. He'd go pretty late, alone, and he did it a couple years. He would show up and say "trick or treat" and the person would be put off because he was an older guy and alone. He would linger and make comments that led you to think he wanted to get in the house.
He freaked out some moms.

Last year I was at a party and we were all tripping. It was maybe 4:30 in the morning and we were all just sitting in a smoking circle when this really really old german man dressed up as the devil busted in the door, took a swig from a bottle he was holding, spit fake blood in the air, and yelled "I HAVE ARRIVED!" in a heavy accent. And the girl that was with him who was dressed as Cinderella came stumbling in the door behind him, tripped on her dress, and fell flat on her face. Then german guy looked around and was like "Oh...wrong party. Carry on." Then he picked up cinderella and they left. We all just sat there looking at each other in shock for a few minutes after that haha.

That would've had me laughing for the next 2 days.
