Habitat: On my way to a cowfield. Grass, alder chips, black berry bushes. Most of these were hidden under tall grass. Puget Sound, Seattle area.
Gills: Dark, brown/purple. Dark purple spore print.
Stem: White, 4-7 inches long. Hollow.
Cap: 1-3 inches in diameter for the adult specimens. Youngins and pins appeared caramel colored, I thought for sure they were cyans. As they mature they turn a greyish color. They appear more conical than wavy. Some were covered in dark purple liquid over the tops.
Spore print color: Purple/Black, Ill have images shortly.
Bruising: Purple, although it may just be from getting smashed up in the paper bag.
