Cheap halloween costume ideas?

I may or may not go out to a friends Halloween party tomorrow night, but I'm flat broke and will probably need a cheap, halfway creative costume. I'm not the most creative person in the world so I need some ideas. Something cheap and good for a laugh or two would be great.

The only idea I have right now is to tie a mylar balloon around my wrist and go as "balloon boy". Or is that too lame?

I don't think massive blood loss goes well with copious alcohol consumption. I think I'll pass.

Hey now that's pretty cool. I wonder how much the makeup will cost though. Like I said, I'm dirt poor right now and whatever cash I have for the night will probably be used for alcohol, food and gas.

paint your face
make a paper-bag mask
wear some raggidy cloths and be a hobo
blow up a latex glove, put on top of your head and be a chicken
wear a shirt that says "i don't do costumes":crankey:

i took standart paint for my stuffed animal.
and i think you got the money for a few little scratches on your face.
those in the picture are way to big imo... look at those little carebear paws :shrug:

my stuffed animal is a cat.
i'll propably post a pic later :smile:

So far it's a winning idea. I don't know if I have any stuffed animals that I can desecrate with red paint though. Or any stuffed animals at all for that matter.

Maybe I can find the odd beanie baby laying around. That might score points on the comedy scale.
