Habitat: Ohio under pine trees Gills: it has white gills
Stem: varies from large to small around 5 cm to 15 cm
Cap: The caps are large some are around 4 cm to about a foot They are a little sticky and have a golden color
Spore print color: White
Other information: The mushroom has a mild scent that over time has become rather disgusting. I laid them out to dry but didn't cut them up properly which brought on some maggots in half of them. I salvaged what I could and now they have dried rather quickly from having moved them closer to my wood stove.
