That always worked for me Give it 10 minutes under your tongue then just swallow it. I'm not sure if that makes it come on any significant amount faster, but my onset is 45min on the DOT each time.

if its blotter just let it sit under your tounge until their is no trace of it, the more that gets absorbed directly through the capillaries in your mouth the more that actually ends up in the blood stream.
once you get more saliva in your mouth than you can stand then just swish it around a second, lol, and swallow

I'd take about 400 mics. That's if I actually wanted to trip. I suppose it depends on your tolerance, but for me, anything under 400 mics only really causes visual distortion, but no real introspection. If you're on any type of antidepressant, you'll have to increase your dose by at least 200 mics. Most tabs nowdays are 50-100 mics. Even if someone tells you "It's amazing, best shit ever," it's probably still only 100 mics. Roughly 10 times less potent than the 60's unfortunately :[

unfortunately these days there is no guarantee that its even real much less knowing how much product is actually in the tab or whatever medium.
by the time it makes it to the end user it has been cut and diluted so many times that you can never know unless you have a close eye pretty high up on the "chain" without so many middle men
