Possible first Cyan find

I found these growing in some alder chips under a rhododendron. There was about 100 or so in the cluster, but only about 30 were mature. Good soil with lots of mulch. Hope the pictures can help explain.

Gills: Browinsh purple. looks like they're loaded with spores.

Stem: Maybe 2 1/2" long. White with a hint of blue where handled.

Cap: Maybe 1 1/2" in diam. Very wavy and kinda slimy (but it was raining) Some had a little nipple towardt the top of the cap.

Spore print color: Looks pretty damn purple to me.

Bruising: A bit of blue on the caps, and on the stems where I cut or handled them.

I'll have to go back tomorrow with my camera. I didn't have it on me, and I wanted to snap some pictures. Any idea on a good dose? I don't have a scale at the moment.

I didn't think that they would bruise so easy. There's even some blue from where I touched the gills. I'll have to try some out later. Never had Cyans.

I would start with 5-10 then see how you feel after an hour.  I ate 6 about a month ago and had a great time...maybe I'm a lightweight though because I can feel the effects within 5 minutes after ingesting.

Congrats! I dosed 3 fresh a week ago and felt like warm honey all over, but minimal to no visuals (mind you im no more than 140 pounds).

yesterday I had 5 dried and had small visual effects but felt freakin AWEESOME for 3 hours.

Just start slow and see how you do! Have fun :thumbup::obama::thumbup:
