Habitat: BC Canada. growing on some sort of pine or ever green wood chips.
Gills: yellow attached. pretty crowded
Stem: 1.5 inches tall about 3cm thick hollow. seem somewhat scaly or 'hairy'
Cap: young mushrooms but the largest is about 1.5 inch in diameter yellow to orange brown. caps are scaly and wavy. they feel a bit slimy when wet. veils are present
Spore print color: orange
Bruising: meat inside the stems near base seems to bruise green when exposed and bruised
sorry no pics this time. i kind of mutilated the stems in my excitement to start on getting spore prints. but im going back in a bit to collect more and i will keep them nice and in tact to take pictures and ill probably have prints by then. can anyone help with the info ive provided?
