IF its anything like that nat geo clip about the trippers brain that someone posted in another thread, that show is shit.
They interviewed Alice, an "experienced tripper", who talked about how bad and unpredictable a time she had when she went to a huge psychadelic party with 100's of people and took way too much LSD and suspected her friends kept putting more in her drink. This experienced tripper sounds like a fucking moron and is essentially spewing bullshit propaganda

In a chair with shit strapped to his head, and it's probably all fake either way, wonderful. Last time I checked, LSD is a Schedule I and has NO VALUE FOR ANYTHING - if the fucking scientists can't get it, I doubt some tv network can.

It's hard to describe, kinda like trying to tell someone who's been blind from birth what the color blue is, but it's a bit more intense, it makes you kinda giddy and it's more speedy than shrooms.

Yeah more intense and speedy. For me it's less introspective and the body feeling is less. I never dance, but when I take acid I'll dance like it's my job.

It was stunned when they said he only got a couple of years out of that deal. Here in the US, he probably would've spent the rest of his life in prison. Gotta love Canadian drug laws.

It's actually a common delusion to believe you are being continually dosed or dosed much more than you really were.
When I was far out there I was convinced someone gave me a map that was sprinkled with crystal and I would never go back to normal. In reality I was just feeling the effects of what I had taken and had underestimated it.

I stayed up late to watch this. I will say that NATGEO was actually rather fair and unbiased when it came to talking about the drug. Sure they talked about bad trips but htey also gave lots of good accounts of it bieng successful in tests. They acknowledge tha tthe enviroment that you are in, and who is around you has a lot to do with how you trip. I like the Idea of dosing the terminally ill to give them a second view of life. I have a dying grandmother right now who refuses to speak to several family members due to grudges she cant even remember. I bet if she got a good trip in her she would find a way to forgive them. Ialways do.
