reinouculating jars with same spore

This may or may not sound crazy to you all but i made up another syringe of the same spore and wanted to re inoculate some jars that have little growth due to poor amounts of spore in the syringe the first time. I know im opening the door for contams but if done right will it help the jar colonize better?

If it is a PF jar, then no I wouldn't re-inoculate because you are going to end up really messing the moisture content up.

If it is grain jars, no I wouldn't do it.  Simply shake your jars.

It's best to start over then to keep adding more and more shit and time to already problematic jars!

Hyphae:  Yes  "Loss of moisture from the substrate"  is not a casing trigger.  :cuckoo:

too many spores = bad idea

picture this: you're going to plant some seeds in a vase, the vase holds 10L of substrate. What happens if you toss inside 20L of seeds??

That analogy has no relevance in the amount of spores needed...

Citric's reasoning for not re-knocking up makes alot more sense.

Also, if there is LITTLE growth, than there it's not a spore problem, it's either the cake, moisture, temperature or one of the other conditions that affect growth of myc. Spores is not the issue here.
