pmp casing solution. maybe....

well seeing as the main problem growing casings in a PMPis that the casings cover up where the humidity is coming from (bubble wands)

what if you raised the cases up about an inch or a half inch off the geolite.

could this solve the problem of having to mist the cakes?

casing = a thin 1/2" layer of non-nutritious material (peat/verm) on top of your substrate used to form a micro climate to help with primordia formation.

you cant grow a casing.

but yes lifting will help a lil but it doesnt hurt humidity by setting your tray on the perlite/geolite.  the humidity flows out and around the tray in to the air no matter if its lifted/raised or not.

cakes would benefit the lift/raise on some sort of mesh/screen for 360* fruiting.:stoned:

I use a shotgun fc for my trays.
