Wonderful time to not sport a camera.
    #11344455 - 10/29/09 12:42 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

Checked up on my pan subb spots today..................

I've never seen clusters so huge in my life........roughly 8 gigantic clusters of 35, 6 gram mushrooms.

The haul ended up being roughly 840 wet with the largest mushroom weighing out to 12 grams.

I left hundreds of pins too, and rain should be happening tomorrow and saturday.  Hopefully I can loan a camera off someone for the next time.

One of the more peculiar mushrooms I picked.........

Medium size cap and stem.......but had a nice little thick pin growing right out of the top of the cap........like the mycellium was on the mushroom cap and it sprouted a pin..........

Really really wish I had a camera :frown:

I'm in ohio.  Pretty chilly at night, it's frosted twice now I believe.

I have a digitial camera, but for some god awful reason the memory card I have is in need of.....formatting and erasing all my saved info......and the memory on the camera is full.

So I guess I should just get another camera card and do it to it.  The shots I could've snagged today would've been some serious eye candy.

As long as it isn't frosting every night, and it's still wet and soggy out you should be good.  I've picked subbs with snow on the ground here before, it just hadn't frosted and hardened up at all yet.  I"ma go back to that spot soon and take some more pics........Going to have to wait until after the rain though.
