Invitro, hollow mushrooms??
    #11341483 - 10/28/09 10:22 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

I forgot about this jar..

Some of them appear to be hollow??  I have no idea, could this be an infection or is it just because it's invitro?

its the only jar i forgot about and there's one decent sized one on top that looks fine, i just want to know about the others...

I doubt that you have an infection of any sort inthere, you just need to birth it and let it get growing.

there's definitely something wrong with some of the smaller ones, they are yellow, no pus or anything so far but some of them just aren't growing.  others are.  :o

k yeah when they were all done i saw some black mold on the bottom of the cake, all the mushrooms were at the top.  I only kept one of the mushroom stems that was a decent size and threw out all the other mushrooms.  should i throw out the stem i kept too?  It was a tiny piece of mold and it was in a 2 liter.
