Should I dunk and roll as soon as I see pins?

I got a pf tek jar and it is already fully colonized, and I'm waiting for a full week to be over before dunk and roll it, but today is the 5th day and I have 2 days left to go before the week is over, and I already see 1 pin going on here, can I wait 2 more days or should I just start soaking it in water for 24 hours hen dunk and roll it?

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but is not full colonization of the substrate a major pinning trigger? So wouldn't it mean that if it's pinning at 5 days after 100% colonization, that it's fully consolidated and ready to fruit?

I'd say that it's ok to dunk n roll now, but lets way and see for a consensus.

well I got 6 jars in all, and 2 of them had pins and I already prepared them in the FC 2 days ago, and today this one got pin, but I 'm tired so I don't wanna do it if possible.

lol you done have to do it now but the sooner you do it the better
tomorrow that pin will have grown quite a bit id imagine, and itll be that much tougher to get out of the jar...

birth it, dunk it, roll it....fruit it :mushroom2:

I fruited 2 directly to FC at like 100%+3days and got some fruits, they had pins so I did the same figuring as you basicly... "pinning now, if I put them in the FC they will grow"... it worked.... I even skipped the dunk.

The other 5 got dunked and a few of them havnt pinned and ive gotten 2 flushes off one of them....

In short, do what you want to do, if it doesnt grow ask for help. Learn.

Leave it until you are ready to dunk the others, then do them all at once. Doing one early really won't make a difference either way.
