ID Req. + Hunt Pics.
    #11339437 - 10/28/09 05:19 PM (8 years, 23 days ago)

Went out to the stand of pines that has been getting thinned out by logging companies recently to see if I could come across anything interesting and here are my finds. (From within the pine area and surrounding deciduous forest/roadside).

#1.
Habitat: Beneath some landscaped mulched area. Trees in the area are some kind of elm I think. planted young hardwoods.

Gills: White, pretty close.

Stem: White and sturdy, strongly rooted in the mulch around it. Some of the mulch was actually trapped in the base of some of the mushrooms like it just grew around it and absorbed it.

Cap: Smooth and white varying in size from small biscuit looking ones to large flattened out ones in the older more mature.

Spore print color: N/A

Bruising: Gills looked to have been bruising yellow/orange

Other information: Growing in a big bunch all together.

#2
Habitat: Under pines deep in the forest.

Gills: pinkish, very detached

Stem: Long and straight with a striated swirl going up it. Looked woody. Red/Red orange

Cap: Very smooth, almost waxy

Spore print color: N/A

Bruising: None

Other information: N/A

#3

Found these growing in some tall grass. I thought Lactarius chelidonium, but the gills were more of a pinkish color and the blue on the top was different that L. chelidonium that I have seen before.

Lactarius Deliciosus?

Some kind of weird Hylanius?

#2 looks like a Laccaria. #3 looks like blewits. Yup, that's Hypomyces hyalinus on an Amanita.

I have a couple ideas, but none that I'm confident in. Maybe someone else knows...

Thanks for the pic compliment

As for the Plant, I don't know what it is and just thought it looked cool, but upon checking out the Wiki for datura, it sure does look like it could be a species of that.

I think this is a non-north american species that you suggested. Plus none of them were cone shaped.
