First time I found one!  On a Big Leaf Maple in Willamette National Forest.

Yes very tasty, I took a sawdust block that was fully colonized with lions mane mycelium and spread it all around the woods, now I have lions mane fruiting everywhere around my place, its fucking fantastic.
