PINAPPLE EXPRESS or GRANDMA'S BOY?
    #11337492 - 10/28/09 12:40 PM (7 years, 11 months ago)

It was my BDay yesterday and I really wanted to celebrate. I called my guy that I get my stuff (MJ) from and asked if he had anything extra special on tap for my occasion.
I asked because I had just gotten some other stuff from him not too long ago and explained that I was in need of something a little better.

He wished me a happy bday and invited me over, he hooked me up with some of the best medicinal grade stuff I've seen in years and smoked me out as well. I chilled there with some of the cool people that are there all the time and had a great time, as usual.

Do you have a good relationship with your supplier?

If I had to liken it to one of these movies I would have to say that mine is Dante from Grandma's Boy for sure, a cool chill person and we actually kick it too.

Grandma's Boy is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen and Dante is the coolest character of all time. Pineapple Express had its moments, but was an epic fail in my mind. Only Red and that black guy were funny.

the level of friendship with my herb suppliers varied, though we were always on great terms.  for a while i was getting hooked up by an older guy i worked with.  we never really hung out outside of work, but still got along quite well in the workplace.

after him, for a little less than a year, i had a supplier with whom i ended up being quite good friends.  he was afoaf new in town.  i actually met him before he started selling.  he was the best fucking hookup because we were tight, so he usually threw a little something extra in for me.  and he'd always give me decent rates on bulk quantities.  he even had my back for a few months after he left the state, it was awesome.

I wish to have a drug dealer with a fuckin' Kung Fu chimp someday.

Haven't seen Pineapple Express, though, So i have no idea what the dealer from that film is like.

I guess it doesn't have to be either of these movies as examples, heck you might be into coke and your "dude" might be Tony Montana right, but I was just curious as to peoples relationships with their "dudes".
Well you know what I mean, it might not even be a dude, I guess.

Mine is also an event promoter and is forever offering me VIP access to his events which I had never taken advantage of because I was newly married with a baby but now that I am gonna be single I will be kicking it big time with my kind of people and if yesterday was any indication as to how that's going to be, I can't wait.

I do wish he had a Chimp that knew karate though, that would be SWEET!

I'm with you. I loved Grandma's Boy have seen it over and over and over again because I just don't get sick of the jokes and stuff.
Pineapple Express, I though that Seth's character was a bit of a dick to his dealer and the dealer was hecka cool.

Only seen grandmas boy once, so I dont really remember much about dante. Basically I usually get all of my drugs from people who I'm good friends with. One of my buddies will always hook me up fat because he knows I smoke most of it with him anyway.

grandma's boy is by far superior to pineapple express.  i got so excited fo PE to come out, but thought it was lame as shit when i finally saw it.  on the other hand, i didn't hear about grandma's boy before it came out and it was one of those unknown movies to me that people kept telling me i "had to see".  PE didnt portray "stoners" nearly as well as GB did, and there was much more stoner comedy and memorable quotes in GB.  hell the soundtrack was even better...

but yeah, about the whole pot dealer thing...my past three pot dealers have been some of my best friends.  my pot dealer before i moved to colorado was an awesome guy, we worked together at a bar and hung out nearly every day.  then when i moved out here i met this guy through a friend, and he is also one of my better friends out in CO.  we go to shows, to bars, go camping and shit.  in my experience, pot dealers are always chill, like-minded people that i get along with well.  my drug dealers on the other hand (coke, oxy, rx pills, etc) have always been shady as you can imagine...

Man redHue sorry to have to quote your whole post, but dang son, I couldn't have put it better myself.
I have had some great relationships with my peoples through out the years too. I had a cool hippie couple for years but they moved,
my cousins boyfriends mom straight source from Humbolt County back in the day and we would be there all day and all night chilling playing pool and playing cards and dominos.

It's nice to surround yourself with "chill" people I think that's what it is.
