Does this look like a good deal?
    #11335692 - 10/27/09 11:25 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Need a PC. I want something that I can use for larger projects in the future.

Does this look like a decent PC and does anyone have any idea how many 1QT jars would fit in here?

Link

Thanks for the help.

Link is broken. Walmart used to have a huge PC that was 30$ and could fit 3 1qt jars, but everything there is seasonal and I forget what time of the year it was when I bought it. They carry smaller ones year round though.

the All American PC will last forever the #921 and #925 will hold 10 quart jars 7 standing and 3 laying on top.

the 23qrt Presto holds 10 jars also for under $99 but wont last as long (will still last a few years).

dont get me wrong I own a 23qrt presto and its great it all depends on how much you want to invest in this hobby.

:pm: me if you have questions about lasers

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.

Fixed the link. Is it  hard to install a pressure gage? I would think that would be easy. Every pressure cooker I have seen in retail cost's upwards of 70 bucks if you get more than 9 quarts. I don't want to have to PC all day.

Although those look awesome and remind me of the what would probably come from a futuristic robot fucking a pressur cooker, I am looking for something big and cheap. Does not have to be super high quality or last me a lifetime. I want something that will last me enough time to make some money to buy a Pressure cooker/Robot hybred in the future.

then get the 23qrt presto.

you can get them on Ebay or Amozon from $60-$99 new, used even cheaper.

10 quarts jars at a time is a lot of spawn.

Yeah, if that thing can't fit any quart jars, you'll be better off saving the ten dollars.

I used to have a small mirro that only fit pints, and wasn't tall enough for quarts, I learned little to nothing about producing grain spawn because I never got great results. With my presto PC I can get 6 large spawn bags at a time. I've ran out of room for all this crap.

Looks like I will probably just be caughing up the 100 bucks for that presto. Seems to be the best solution for me now. I just thought about how much I don't want to be waising time fucking with a dumb pressure valve and all that other shit. I already work 76 hrs a week.

Thanks for your input guys,

David
