Photos taken October 17th
Cold Nights may have dipped down to freezing once before recorded
Slight Rain-fall past week. Semi-dewy grasses.
Found in same Dung heap areas as Panaeolus semiovatus var. phalaenarum
Found Earlier this year...
as well as possible Stropharia semiglobata photographed at the same time.

Habitat:
Grassy Upland Hills in southern VT. Field/Pasture,altitude about 300-500 ft above sea level.horse/cow dung,grassy areas within 15-45 ft perimeter
of medium-big unknown tree.
Gills:
Brownish-Redish to Grey

Stem:
4-7ish inches long,pea size diameter, tan to red of more brownish color, texture of some stems were slimy

Cap:
blueberry-size to 25 cent-coin diameter.  redish-cream, color, conical, flattened out

Spore print color:
Brown

Bruising:

I'm thinking Agrocybe species...could be way off but it doesn't look like an active

Nice description.  I have no idea what they are.  Turbaria maybe?
