Hey folks, just some thoughts walking thru the woods. Please help me to reiterate. This part of the forest is where i found loads of blue indigo (lactarius indigo)...
i think that this particular spot is healthy because there are two oak trees with plenty of debri underneath it.
many of the fallen branches are well saturated and you can squeeze water out of it if u tried. Some had rhizomorphic mycelium.
Many branches were soo soft that they easily broke up into smaller pieces.
So im hoping to use this to grow woodlovers. I was thinking mix it with some apple, cherry and alder chips and pasteurize it. Then use is as substrate. Has anyone ever used wild hardwood for a grow before or nah?
