S.L.U.T. Under Attack by Giant Mushrooms
While studying the natural habitat of the Seattle Streetcar (fondly renamed the South Lake Union Trolley or S.L.U.T.), I came across an odd outcropping just west of Terry near the Valley tracks. Upon closer inspection, gargantuan fungoids - bigger than any import sold (for a significant portion of any paycheck) by Whole Foods - came into view. Shocked, I stumbled back a couple of feet to the safety of the large paved sidewalk that is barely used and wrestled with my bag to get my camera-phone to capture this unbelievable sighting.
Giant mushrooms spotted near S.L.U.T. tracks.Since no demands have been made (and the giant mushrooms do not speak), we can only anticipate what these fungal mutants intend. It is likely that the SLUshrooms will either consume the innocent S.L.U.T (starting with the purple one) in a fungal frenzy or use the streetcar to transport their colossal selves closer to downtown (but not quite close enough to easily transfer to the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel to catch the Airport Link light rail to SeaTac). It is also possible that the yeasty target is not actually our beloved Seattle Streetcar, but rather one of the many ancient Metro Transit buses that "provide the best possible public transit services that get people on the bus and improve regional mobility and quality of life in King County" (Note: this is the actual Metro Transit Mission Statement).
You may still be able to view these giant mushrooms (type unknown by the writer) unless they have already been harvested for specific purpose (also unknown by writer who does not really cook) or destroyed by the Seattle monster fungus & legume security forces.

They renamed it from SLUT to Seattle Streetcar, I am pretty sure...

yea WTF I've seen farmers holding mushrooms wider than their torsos WTF is this? I've grown many cubes larger than that... not that I want the media attention.

That's funny. The writer of the article admits that he doesn't know anything about mushrooms, nor does he cook. 
Apparently he's good at exaggerating the size of things though.
