I posted something about this contam before and the advice i got was to pc for 90 min @15 psi and make sure the rye was dry before putting it into the jar. The stuff on and around the grain is like a brownish dust. When opening the jar and removing the grain brown fog comes out. Has anyone else had this problem before? If so how can i prevent it? THank you wondering how to prevent this from happening again. Prep is: 24 hour soak for rye berries, load into qt jars, pc at 15 psi for 60 min, let cool overnight, innoc with 3cc of LC, let sit in 72 degrees to incubate. this has worked for a while and now all i can get is this
