The Good Deed Thread

Simple, just post a good deed you did today.
This happened to me today and inspired this thread: I was riding the subway back home from school, when a young kid got off at a stop and his pencil case fell out of his backpack. People tried to get his attention, but those kids and their ipods... he never heard and walked out. Giving up, the people simply placed the pencil case on his seat. It was at this moment that something overtook me. I looked to see the subway doors had not yet closed- so I jumped up! grabbed the pencil case and ran out after the kid. In retrospect, I think those people there think I stole it.. but anyways I caught up with the kid and gave it back. I even nearly made it back on the subway but instead I had to wait a minute or two for the next one. The kid was happy, and I felt good, so

I haven't left my house today to do anything. I wave to people and tell them to have a good day. Not a good deed, but I see their face light up when I do. I'ma try and donate time to good will stores and other places similar to help out and meet new people ;sun:

I bought myself a black forest gateau and ate it all to myself without guilt. That was my good deed for the day.

I smile even when I'm not happy. I think everyone enjoys giving and receiving a good smile!
I also took the blame for one of my roomates slobness during an arguement with the other roomie. Of course, both of them are being very secretive around me now about shit now because of the stupid arguement, but meh, what can ya do.
Its kinda funny how when you live with someone, the arguements you have aren't over normal friend stuff, its about the dumbest things

I gave the dog part of my steak. I'm pretty sure that she thinks that's a good deed. She's sleeping it off.

My friend had no weed the other night, so I let him bum off mine. We smoked two bowls though, so he DOES owe me at least SOMETHING.

The washer and dryer in our house is in my roommates room. I forgot to take my laundry out of the dryer, and it was about 2 AM at night. I knew my clothes were gonna get wrinkled if I left them in there overnight, but I refrained from going into get them because I didn't want to wake up my roommate.
I got them out this morning and they look like this:

Yay for good deeds.
Doing good deeds is a great way to deal with stress. More people should be looking out for their neighbor.
