Visuals and Weed?

I've only been smoking about a year but I've been doing so heavily (near-daily) for the past 4 months. I've had a lot of people tell me flat out and very insistently that you just don't see things when you just smoke weed.
Anyway, I just finished reading the descriptions of different trip levels and Lvl 2 pretty accurately describes me at my highest. I can see changing color patterns, usually only in my periph with my eyes open but sometimes all over. With my eyes closed it gets a little more intense. Also sometimes I feel like I can just imagine a pattern and it'll appear.
Anyone else have the same experience just from weed or am I crazy? All I know is I enjoy it

Weed totally changes your vision. I never got crazy visuals before I took LSD or mushrooms from smoking, but after I dabbled in the heavier psychedelics I saw things move every time I got high.
Visuals go x10 when you smoke and you're dosed too. Weed is very visual, don't let people tell you otherwise.

I used to have visuals all the time from smoking.
I'd be so high that I could barely handle the body, let alone mind high.
How I wish I could feel that way again..

I've had that too, the strobe effect. I actually get that a lot more than the colors.

When you eat it, the effects of weed are much more psychedelic. If you eat a lot of weed that's been well prepared, you will experience strong open eye visuals.

Fairly regularly now I get quite intense closed-eye visuals anytime I get really baked. It seems to happen more often after a recent trip, but even if I haven't tripped in a while, if I smoke enough, I'll get CEVs.

Yes it's true...been stoned for 38 years, especially after treating yourself to psychedelics over the years..weed is a visual thing, glad it's not as super heavy as anything else or it would not be the herb we love and trust

i tend to see shit that isnt there out of the corner of my eye, or at first glance i mistake something for another thing for a second until i realize, but that's about it for me...unfortunately no CEVs for me

I have very slight visuals.
I've been able to see visual noise anywhere I look at and have been forever. But when I'm really high, if I really try to get CEV's, I will, but they are way more easier to control than shrooms. My first real visuals on shrooms were uncontrollable and random. I saw a cartoon character's eye-ball pop open and a bug came out of it, then the bug transformed into several different images, but they are all unexplainable.
I definitely want to eat weed and get open eye visuals.

I have had odd visuals that fly across my vision. When people say visuals I feel that they mean you see things that might not be there. Of course weed makes your vision different. I would not say you get insane visuals unless you smoke a lot of some realmly piff herb. Smoking can make things look extremely sharp and defined, and you'll be able to notice spacing and depth. It can also fine details blurry, but you notice the big picture more. It also brightens things. The CEVS can be amazing.

When I had no tolerance weed would kick my ass. Open eye visuals, auditory halluciations, and other weird shit that felt way beyond what "just some weed" should be doing.
After smoking for a few years weed basically just spaces me out and makes colors brighter.
In the past I have had true open eye visuals though, not as intense or pronounced as on LSD or Mushrooms- but definatly there nonetheless. It would usually happen on surfaces like rugs, pavement, or in grass... I'd see shapes form and as I relaxed my eyes i'd see crazy spiraling patterns comparable to other psychedelics. Although, during the time I was over-useing psychedelics and it could have been some kind of hppd or side effect of that...
It's either that I now use psychedelics a lot less frequently, or that I have a higher tolerance to weed... but It doesn't happen anymore unfortunatly.

the people that insist weed doesnt make you see anything are just totally wrong.
weed is a psychedelic. period. it can, and does causes hallucinations quite commonly. it is simply a very very common effect. i dont understand it when people tell me that its not hallucinogenic in any way.

Yes...patterns,shapes,geometric designs,swirls,....for YEARS!!! Seems after I stopped taken so much LSD when I was a kid,the patterns slowly subsided. Pavement, drywall, carpets, dirty windows, dirt, anything with detail really. Weed seems to remind your brain of these patterns you have burned into your synapses..don't mind it,been hanging with 'em for quite a long while...like it! When I'm really bored and completely sober I can actually start frying if I want to...not intensely, but enough to make shit move. No biggie...life is a trip,I enjoy the bonus visuals
