Shiitake prints (FP)

shiitake prints from fp spawn.

for the first 5 posters.

Prints are on foil. And wont go out until after the holidays.

Since the prints are limited, i ask that please do not post unless you will actually use for your collection or to cultivate. If it's not very important to you, let it pass. I'll be offering more later.

1 left.. please only respond if you are able to cultivate this species. I will have MANY more prints come second flush. In a few weeks.

These are just the 1st set, and I want to get the genetics and spores out there, so people can give edibles a run.

To fruit from this print you must be able to:

Isolate on agar
innoculate grain
transfer to hardwood/sawdust block/or dowels
innoculate logs, or fruit block.


if you're capable, and comfortable. Then by all means, take the print =)

what color does the prints have , i tried a few times to print 'em but in my last attempt it seems that they have only a very pale color , is that correct or am i doing something wrong ?

VERY pale white. Once dried, the spores are hard to see even. But when they were still wet, it was very dark dark white - I could hardly see the foil. Now when dry I have to look very hard and it only looks like a very cloudy foil piece, it's strange.

thanks , same in here , that's why i went to tissuecloning that was effective in half of the babyjars with agar , but i think the failed other half had temps too high , the other ones are doing fine , oh , i startedputting the babyjars upside down because of humidity builtup that can slow the growth
