Okay, it's obvious what the op needs to do:

Jizz on the the entire surface of your apartment. Literally cover all the walls, floors, tables, electronics (with the exception of your own of course) with a nice thin layer of semen. When she comes home and questions the sticky but professionally done surfacing of the residence, you should tell her that you spotted rodents and are having the place fumigated with a new experimental procedure.

This will fix everything.
