Thanks man, I was going to go all the way with PFtek from start to finish, but do you think I should crumble and use tubs? I'm still not confident with monotubs. I'm still trying to figure out the whole coffee grounds, coir, and lime thing.

So, I was going to do this method with the monotubs after I have successfully fruited with PFtek to kinda compare methods.

The first 4 jars I did with the syringes from spores 101 was 2cc's per jar. Then I did 3 more jars at .5cc, .5cc, and 1cc. The 1cc is a dud... the two with half a cc are working great!!!
The golden teachers I did from spores101, 1cc per jar and I did 5 jars. All of them have started to grow with the exception of 1 jar...
With the sporeworks syringes I just got, I am going to do 1cc per jar.
Temps are stable at 80degress 24/7 in my closet.

Hmm, I've been reading a lot lately on the temp. debate. Something im seeing a lot more lately is a "new" recommendation to keep the jar's in 75-80F range. Most articles I've read said to account for 3-5 degrees of metabolic heat release from the colonizing jars. I would think based upon what I've read that jars kept at an ambient 75 (external temp.) would be ideal. Just what I've read  :cheers:

I've read that too, it just happens to be 80 degress in my closet at all times lol. But this month the temp outside did drop quite a bit, so at night the closet seems to hit 77-78 but with my light I have in there it keeps it at 79-80 at night. It's a 150w metal halide... lol. Way over kill, but I had it sitting around from an old salt water reef aquarium.

Hey guys, I will have 3 jars ready for the FC in about 5-8 days. Do you think I should stick with the PF tek and use the FC, or is there a better methods that will perform better with what I have?

Ok guys, I am debating to dunk and roll tonight or wait a few more days. I have two out of three cakes that are not at 100% but they have been roughly 90-95% for the past 10 days. I believe I am starting to see pinning on them, but I am no expert. What do you guys think?
