Question about kits
    #11330972 - 10/27/09 01:21 PM (8 years, 24 days ago)

ive been around the website for awhile doin some research and just started a kit that a purchased just to give me a feel for it. Which i know is alot more money but good for my knowledge. The method I will be using is cakes and then crumbling them up and putting casing over that in tin pans. my question is after the fruiting and the harvest(or flush) i believe is correrct terminology..how do i go for a second flush using this method..

same way.. give it a heavy misting and stick it back into the fruiting chamber..

i however suggest not crumbling and casing, fruit the cakes whole, it makes it easier later to dunk

:pm: me if you have questions about lasers

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.

I agree... Don't crumble the cakes. You gain nothing by doing that but you also open yourself up to contams.

Fruit the cakes as is, then dunk and roll in verm

Good Luck.

BE PATIENT!!! =)

If you'll watch these videos, you'll see just what to do.  Where you are right now with your jars is where part 2 picks up, but I'd still watch all four videos so you'll know what to do next time.

im actually kind of confused now..i rewatched the last video..and i thought after the dunk and roll you were suppose to left the mycelium cover the verm and then put in the fruiting chambers..or is that just for casing method??
