 May be trippin' today - need advice!

Me and my girl are thinking about doing mushrooms today around 2pm or so, ending at a decent time so that we can go home and sleep... is this a good idea?
Secondly, she's suggested a remote location at this state park... but neither of us have ever done it outside before. And I've heard its better to have someone sober there just in case. (i.e. getting lost in the woods)
Anyone have suggestions? Should we plan this for another day? Please advise!

Ah, now we're getting somewhere lol.
A state park is a great place to trip. Just dont go on any major hikes, it's easy to get lost chasing a bug or an imaginary 2nd Sun

I don't know if I'm just being paranoid, but what about park rangers? Or other hikers? Like I have to be totally comfortable in a trip and if I'm acting strange in public; kind if puts me off to the idea.

Well, I've taken them plenty of times in parks, and never had a problem. Once in FL a ranger came up to us and made us walk with him and pay for our parking since we had forgetten to (rainbow family...lol) and it was totally obvious what was going on. He couldn't have cared less.
Then again, depending on how much you eat/potency, you could be begging for poison control or 9-1-1. If a sober sitter will be with you, you should be fine. If all goes sour, just go somewhere out of sight and ride it out. Dont think too much about your hesitation, just feel it out. Good luck friend.

Well go for it!!....make sure you have what your body needs with you,water,food,etc. Don't wear tripper clothing,as it tends to attract cops to your trip. If you go to a state park find a good place to chill away from interuptions until the effects simmer down,then go for a walk after a couple hours...don't drive until you are done seeing trails..drink water during..eat food when done...focus on cool shit...clouds,water,trees,love,..remember that love will always fix your ass if you need fixing..PEACE

Thank you both for the great advice! Now I'm getting a more excited! It's a bit cloudy over here, which is nice.
One more question: I was actually thinking of going to this local park with two soccer fields, a playground, restrooms, big parking lot and benches. It doesn't have a lot of trees, but I figure we could lay down and stare at the clouds for hours maybe? There shouldn't be a lot of people because its during a weekday. It's in the middle of suburbia.

Do it! There's no reason to be unhappy on trip day and if you do get lost in a park, it'll be a hell of a time, worry isn't your friend simply let go right now and you'll be set!
I'd recommend starting a little earlier so if you do get in a pinch it's not dark out.
But shit have a great time man, I'm sendin good vibes your way!

Im sure it would be best on a warm, sunny day, with few clouds and a cool breeze.
probably won't be too fun if either too cold or too hot.
Storms may be fun though.

Caution should be used when spacing out in public..as those who are not on your trip may think it is strange,thus you may need help in those peoples opinion. What most squares consider "help" is an ambulance or some other form of authority...not always so helpful to some of us..if you think you can trip and not draw wierd energy to yourself at such a place,go for it...However I would recommend a more forested venue for your "concert"

So I've decided:
My girl will be taking whatever she wants (up to a full eighth, while I, on the other hand - will be taking only a half. And we'll be doing it around Noon.
I feel I need to be a bit more caution in public, since this is the first time.

Do tell upon return to our world......watch the dosage for the first time...when I was young I have taken up to an 1/8th.....it was a powerful thing....now I prefer a half gram....less is more sometimes....I have tripped for nearly 30 years..have a good time,stay positive no matter what!!!
