Hello again everyone. This tray is filled will popcorn substrate colonized w/ b+. Temp, FAE, RH all seem good...and have remained steady for the whole 8 days or so in the chamber. I've been misting w/ a pump sprayer 3 or 4 times a day. Been following hyphae's tek as closely as I can. 50/50 casing etc. I see no contams...but no pinning either. I know its a waiting game at this point...Im just growing more and more anxious by the day. Any advice? Comments? Things I could do differantly to achieve better results? Thank you all in advance for the replys!

keep misting, keep fanning, and keep waiting.  Something will pop up soon and you will look forward to seeing them change every morning.  It is like the excitement a kid gets the night before Christmas, good luck and be patient

You will get pins really soon I bet no more than 11 days though if you are doing everything right, pins come faster if the casing is somewhat colonized ( from my experience )

make sure you fan 5 times a day or so, and i personally mist every morning with the before the first fanning and every night after the last fanning

How do you mist? Lightly, heavily? I've been misting very lightly just before I fan each time...4 or 5 times a day.

i use a regular mister from the dollar store, with a little bit of peroxide in it and all depends on how the casing looks, if it loos a little dry, i use more water, and if it looks wet, no water or maybe a little, it varies on what part of the growing cycle it is at

Yeah, I guess that'll come with experience huh? Knowing when to spray...when not to etc. I'll just keep doing what im doing and hope to see pins soon. I cant wait to trip again...last time I did was in Amsterdam 2008.

u812 is anxious!

try to see if you can eat some right after you harvest, make tea or just eat them like a fresh shroom, it might be a better experience

Yeah, Im hoping to have enough for my wife and myself to eat fresh as soon as I pick em'...Guess I could store them in the fridge for a day or two if need be huh? Do you know how long they'll last in the fridge? I've had both fresh and dried...I do think fresh ones made me trip more balls.

never stored any in the fridge, but you could make tea with them then put the tea in the fridge for sure.  I usually just start the drying process right after they are picked
