ahh, I dunno, I guess it looks like there is just a layer of fuzz around it, rounding the edges and down on the bottom.
I don't think it's a problem, but I just noticed that it was there.

I didn't use a specific set of instructions, I 've read abt different teks and conbined. I had to be very cautious as there is mold all over my house due to poor insulation and I also had to use a inprovised glove box. My wife just couldn't stop laughing when she saw me dressed like a doctor with a mask and with my hands in the glove box :smile:

I did the pftek using glases instead of jars and I also used the bulk substrate growing tek which I intend to use further inoculating jars of rye using the fully colonized jars just before I put them in the tray and case them with vermiculite or mix.

The terrariums are made from transparent plastic boxes with perlite on bottom and drilled holes in the sides and a pc cooler with a tube in the cover. all holes and cooler tube are protected with filters improvised from face masks. It is working all well and automated with a timer for the pc coolers.

PS: I also used pressure cookers

all the cakes were smooth as glass when I birthed them and imediately started growing a little fuzzy but I don't think is mold as they are ok now and started producing mushrooms, plus the mold that's in my house is green, not white.

I want to make some spore prints, do you guys think that they are ready to be harvestedand and decapitated? :smile: (those two in the last pic seem good enough for me, but I have never done this before, so please give me some advice)

That looks a bit fuzzy to me as well.  If I remember right though, that means there is a bit too much moisture.  Not 100% on that though.

Thanks for the answer, I was going to harvest them tonight, but I will wait then.
If you look in the second pic you can also see the other container (in the right) which I harvested 3 and 1/2 days ago is already growing the second flush, and they are already at least 3 cm tall now.
