I wonder if the rate of lucid dream frequency and control is related to use of entheogens/hallucinogens.
I wonder if people who've never tripped lucid dream with the same frequency and abilities as those who've tripped alot.
I had dreams that I knew were a dream since I was little (about 7) but I wasnt able to completely control the outcome those dreams until after I first tripped(about 16).

Fucking finally. I haven't seen a new good poll in this forum in months.
I wasn't entirely sure how you differentiated between the different manifestations. Often when I have lucid dreams, I induce sexual situations. Guess I'm pretty perverted. I had one over a month ago where I stopped time and was able to float in midair. I haven't achieved flying in a while though. 
Often when I lucid dream, I'm having a lot of fun, and then I "wake up" into another dream in which I think is now reality. It's really bizarre to constantly have dreams within dreams.

Sexual situations are included with "manifest situations" and in fact that's 90% of what I meant by that. I shoulda worded it differently.
I think there is a point that when you build up too much energy within the dream you wake.
With the help of certain chemicals you can remain in the dream during these energy spikes.

Exactly. This was especially true of my first fully lucid dream less than a year ago, at age 27.
I realized I was dreaming and for the first time remembered, did not awaken. I chose to fly and was only able to for about 25 feet before becoming too excited and awakening.
Usually my lucid dreams now only happen during marijuana withdrawal, or when really stoned on A+ pot. I am rarely able to control much, but am commonly fully lucid.
Oneirology is one of my two passions; the other being Mycology, of course...

How does one control this energy?
I usually just luck out and stay lucid for a decent bit... and 9/10 I have sexual experiences when this happens. In fact, what often allows me to lucid dream is when sexual situations occur in my dreams, I suddenly think... "this is fucking crazy... this is definitely a dream." In my best one, I realized "I'm lucid dreaming, so I control this dream." I was able to, no joke, create an entire orgy house in my dream and I freely had sex with a couple girls.
As I've now realized, NOTHING beats guilt-free dream sex. 
However, sooner or later I wake up from the dream horny or I "wake up" into another dream which I believe to be reality.  In a rare instance, I continuously was realizing I was dreaming and I kept "waking up" into other dreams. This happened around six or seven times before I actually woke up. BIZARRE.

Manifesting buildings actually seems to be the hardest for me, next to manifesting people and shape shifting. The poll confirms that these are some of the more difficult abilities.
Floating/levitating is the easiest for me, which the poll also goes to show.

I first lucid dreamed when I was about 6 or 7 because I was having "night terrors" (up to 30-40 nightmares a night) and I had to learn to lucid dream to fight off all the monsters and demons in my nightmares
There was a period about 3 years ago where I was having multiple lucid dreams every night and was having up to 10 minute lucid dreams where I would have no panic of waking up. But I never learned how to shapeshift or manifest objects or have magic powers. The coolest thing was meeting dream people - beings that live in the dream world in some eternal form, you can talk to them and ask them questions about what it's like to live in the dream world and they will have a casual conservation with you. Not to be confused with a dream character - dream beings are also lucid and you recognize them as being aware of you.
Flying is second nature.

I get lucid dreams every few weeks, usually they happen whenever I go back to sleep in the morning  . And even if I don't get lucid dreams, the dreams I get when I go back to sleep are always the craziest and most vivid ones.

Started writing a "dream diary" this year. I've been using it on and off for a while. Had my first lucid dream after 6 entries in the diary (2-3 weeks time).
At first they were like: shop, pizza, cash register...
Then I could remember more and more detail about a dream and one night I had a couple of minutes of lucidity (sex, drugs and making people do what I wanted - honestly it's like being god) I can still remember those moments like they happened yesterday.
I usually can't remember shit when high on anything the day before...

The more you try to remember or write down your dreams, the more you will remember them. It is like you have to train your brain to have better access to your sub-conscious.
As far as having the most lucid or vivid dreams in the morning after going back to sleep is because you go into REM sleep about every 90 minutes, each time being longer than the one before it.
Therefore you spend the most time in REM sleep (where lucid and vivid dreams usually occur) in the morning, something like up to 90 minutes.
I have been keeping a dream diary for 9 years, and they have progressively gotten more detailed, except for during times of very heavy pot smoking. Pot withdrawals tend to intensify dreams for me and many others.

The best time to dream for me is +4 hours of sleep later or sometimes in the afternoon nap (1-3h of sleep) - something about the body being rested or something...
