IMO, theres two ways of looking at it.

1. Most people you meet are not unique. There are so many god damn people on this planet, that nearly everyone can be categorized into some sort of click. That chick is a goth, or a ditz, or a sorostitute, or a bitch, or a nerd, or a punk, or a raver...or whatever box you want to throw them in. No one is truly "unique".

2. Everyone you meet is unique in some way. Each person has that one little personality quirk that makes them different from other people you meet. Sometimes it can take a while to see the uniqueness of a person, but everyone has something special to offer.

I prefer to take the 2nd out look, and not judge them solely based on their looks and mannerisms. And yea, if you have confidence and can meet with a girl on some emotional/intellectual level....you can get with all kinds of attractive looking girls.
