anyone else feel like they are done with psychedelics

i have done small medium and large doses of pretty much every psychedelic and now i just feel like i dont want to trip and that i got what i was looking for and dont neeed to continue using them. i like being around them and stuff and the culture associated with them but im just done.  maybe in the future i will give her another go but for now i can happily say im good when the vial drops of lucy come round and nah man im cool tonigh to the handfull of shrooms. anyone else like that?

I had one absolutely ridiculous trip at the beach one time. It was very intense. I took a long breather after that one. But now I'm back.  I think it is good sometimes to relax and take a break.  :stoned2:

To each his own......Back when Jerry died I was left feeling pretty crispy,it took a couple years to return to Earth. Since then I have definitely turned the volume down on my use,but have never really "quit". I have only dosed 3 times this year...I feel I have more responsibilities now,(kids being the big one)and I have to really plan for the time to have the time for a decent trip. My long time tripper friends are equally "responsible". Maybe just turning down the frequency in which one trips is enough to keep you from getting burned out????

I feel like I have only just begun. Like TM said, I thought I knew alot about psychedelics, until I tried DMT. :ooo:

Mushrooms can be a complete mindfuck though. I have to warm back up to them soon. They are beautiful, you just have to embrace them and not fight them. I think that is what I was doing my last few mushie trips... not going with the flight plan.

I remember the first time I took mushrooms, I came out of the experience feeling like I was done with drugs for a while. I had a great trip, but it was so new and strong that I stopped wanting to do so much as smoke or browse Erowid.

The next weekend, I tripped shrooms again.

I'm done with acid, I had a lot of fun and don't really need it anymore. Done with cannabis too, it's not worth it, I don't get anything done when I'm high, even though I used to(or thought I did). I'd honestly rather be sober so I can do things I want to and be clear headed.

I'm still down for cactus or mushrooms though. Maybe aya sometime in the future.

My first time ever tripping i ate 1 gram, then tripped for 3 weekends in a row after that.

I love shrooms and weed alot mainly because they are the only drugs I've ever done. I've only gotten drunk once and it was great, but not near as fun as weed or shrooms.

I really want to get LSD :[

I don't think I'll ever be done with psychedielics, but I've tripped so many times now that I can go years without the urge to trip.  For me it's all about being in the exact right place, at the exact right time, with the right group of people.  No more sitting at home and tripping just because I have some mushrooms or lsd.  When it comes to tripping I like low dose mushroom trips (1.5-2.5g), or a nice strong, but not too strong, dose of lsd. I have to be with atleast one of four people that I've tripped with many times, and I have to be out in the woods, only then will I trip.  I still like growing a bit of fungus every now and again, keeping a little, but mostly giving away big bags of enlightenment to friends who still enjoy it on a more regular basis.

hey holmes, i totally know the feeling. the way i see it, there's no reason to say you'll never do them again-but you just dont need to now. i've done the same thing many times. some day though, your mind will have an itch that can only be scratched by something special; haha.

You have to clear your operating system with psychedelics every now N then. The longest I ever go without a psychedelic trip is 6 months. And I could see myself only doing it twice a year at some point.

However I think I will be using psychedelics for the rest of my life. I use them to remind myself and refresh my brain.

I don't like taking lots of psychedelics every months tho, I space out my trips. But when I trip I go all the fucking way.

5 grams in complete darkness, if you can keep from getting distracted it really is a wonderful experience.

take psilocybin, you wont regret it!
