Cactus tar in d-limonene

What if I put an iso extract's tar in d-limonene? Would it reduce the amount of limonene needed? Since this leaves you with a freebase mescaline, would I no longer need calcium hydroxide?

I'm just curious 'cause I tried making some orange oil myself and was left with not very much, so I ended up just doing an iso exaction since I'm cheap.

Its my understanding that the iso extraction doesnt convert the mescaline to its freebase form so it would not be soluble in the d limonene

Why not just use the tar as is?

no, you'd need to convert it into freebase before extraction with d-limonene, or it'l be a salt.
