Dead trees are my friend
    #11320863 - 10/25/09 08:19 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Rained all day yesterday, figured id go play mycologist. No need to ID just sharing, but ill include some info anyways.

These were some Leucopaxillus i believe. They were all over the place.

Either some more undeveloped Leucopaxillus or something else, still learning

Another species growing from dead wood, white gills detached from stem. There was only one full grown one, but many on their way.

Another cluster just inches away

A cute little yellow guy. Looks Mycena-ish to me. Sorry no gill pic. Also a white Mycena.

A different cluster of yellow guys. Grew from under dead tree bark.

Found this gross mother growing in a pile of rotting grass clippings

Random

A cool amber, translucent...thing.

Thanks for watching, happy hunting! :mushroom2:

Looks like dried tree sap, but if it really is an organism I would have collected and tried to cultivate it.
