How to I.D. Dried liberty caps

A friend of mine is buying some dried liberty caps. what should he look for to make sure there actually liberty caps? (length, width, color, brusings) what would be signs that they are liberty cap look alikes? pictures would be helpful.

a pointed nipple would be the most distinguishing feature, also the stems should be very thin and thread like when dry,

il post a picture of dry libs in a few minutes,

but i must warn you cant be sure with dry specimens, i would trust them if they were being given for free from a friend but the fact that they aare being sold makes it seem dodge.

but beware of whoever you are buying them from unless its a trusted mate, you can pick them yourself for free and libs once dry will look like any other little brown mushroom
