Im thinking these might be hygrocybe, if they are, is that a good indicator species for actives?

on another note to libs or most field found shrooms always bruise purple?

Purple

Could be Psathyrella spadiceogrisea (though IF, then young).

dammit, more Psathyrellas!! Would they signal active shrooms soon or nearby?

Psathyrella species often grow on wood chips, so the habitat might be correct.

On the other hand, I've seen SO many spots LOADED with Psathyrellas and not a single active friend around... So better don't coun't on it...
