So I got into Pretty Lights for free last night, front row/center stage
On top of that I got to meet them after.
So all in all, that was probably the best $0 i spent on a concert.

Just a lot of weed. I was going to take 2c-i but we went so late and weren't even sure we could get in so I didn't bother with that.

I saw them at Bonnaroo and they're coming around my area soon. Good performers.

What's cool too is that you can download ALL of their music straight from their website. It's all free.

My little bro just called me yesterday to inform me that they're playin in Nashville wednesday, so if I can get off work wed afternoon and thursday I might take the 3 hour drive out to his place and dose up for the show. I just hope I can get off work! If not, they're comin to Memphis too I think pretty soon....

I should also mention that the whole reason we got in for free was that one of the girls I was with went out back to their tour bus and convinced them to let us into the sold out show for free.
boobs ftw.

seriously, to anyone that is reading this, and has not yet heard of Pretty Lights, you need to check them out now. their music is free on prettylightsmusic.com unless of course you want to donate. there are three albums out now, one of which is a double disc. that one, "Filling Up the City Skies", is unbelieveable and is where you should start imo. "Taking Up You're Precious Time" is actually their first album, but its more down-tempo and chill. they gained huge popularity from "FUTCS" and this album is a majority of his live played songs... their long awaited new album "Passing By Behind Your Eyes" just came out a few weeks ago, and once again there is some great music on that album. they are very fun at live shows, good lights with a sick LED panel. at live shows there is a drummer which adds a little organic feel to the laptop genre that is electronica. i've got friends who don't really get into the whole "electronica genre" to obsess over Pretty Lights' music. his music is wonderful while rolling or tripping. and their live shows blow me up like no other, its always a beautifully rowdy time.
and yeah, stickfigure, i was at red rocks for "day out of time". getting poured on was a crazy experience
