Habitat: Samples found near some conifers growing along the grass bank between the entrance way of my apartment complex.
Gills: White, attached
Stem: 9 - 10 cm on sample collected but varied between all those discovered.
Cap: 10 - 16 cm in diameter, orange/yellow (pale), speckled white, spherical, concave
Spore print color: white
Bruising: no noticable bruising
Other information: You can see from the attached photos that the group of mushrooms appears to almost be growing in a fairy ring. Also, see attached photo of newly fruited specimen. These had been out in the rain all day - would this affect the color of specimens?
