Benefits of double stacking
    #11317144 - 10/25/09 08:34 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

I just wanted to know if double stacking your cakes has any benefits. I am using the verm and brown rice flour method.

This makes sense, but IME I find that the top or the bottom of the cake is where 90% of the fruits come from.

so it's only real benefit is providing more space?... shouldn't really be done if you have sufficient space to put your cakes normally, right?

but I doubt those cakes will produce more shrooms then separately. I think you would be better off leaving the cakes in the fridge until the first cakes are done if space is a concern.  I dont think you will get much more yield of two stacked cakes compared to one single cake.

he puts a layer of foil in between the two cakes to prevent the top cakes moisture wicking into the bottom cake.
