Aborted Entolomas

Can someone please post some pictures of these from the Midwest deciduous forests? I think I found some a few weeks back but was too unsure to try them. Is there anything else that looks like them?

You should be able to find some good photos on Google.  I took some photos last year and this year but I haven't put them online yet.  Do you have a photo of what you saw?

No didn't take photos, but I found some growing on the ground that looked like white blobs or Styrofoam packing peanuts, and another kind growing on logs and the ground that looked like white dog poop.

That was probably them.  I don't know of any mushroom like them.  I've never eaten them though.  I just like the way they look.
