13 steps to relapse DMT tek VERY SIMPLE
    #11316065 - 10/25/09 03:12 AM (7 years, 11 months ago)

this is a very VERY simple extraction.  after reading through a few different techniques, swim combined different steps from different teks and used these exact steps and measurements.  its very easy and very cheap, aside from the bark, the naptha is the most expensive thing at $9 for 946 ml.

recently swim extracted about 11.5 grams of dmt out of 500 grams of mimosa bark.  that is a fairly good yield compared to other teks that swim read.  here is the step by step how to on it.  please note the materials and steps listed are for use with 250 grams of mimosa bark.  swim doubled everything (basically doing 2 extractions at once).

materials needed:
1 gallon glass jar (one of the big pickle jars)
glass measuring cup
lye
mimosa bark powder
vm&p naptha (get at lowes, home depot, etc. its used as a wood stripper)
glass baking dish (pyrex 13x9 was used here)
turkey baster
stirring stick (stainless steel knife sharpener was used here)
water
glass jar (retired pf cake jar works great lol)
safety goggles, mask, and gloves are recommended.  the powder is very fine and easy to inhale by accident. lye will give chemical burn.  the fumes smell like ass. you should probably wear an apron or old clothes too just incase of spills.
DO NOT smoke, or use any open flames, naptha is extremely flammable, also keep vinegar handy to neutralize any lye that gets spilled, especially if its on you to reduce chemical burn.
now for the process...

1. take 250 grams of ground up mimosa bark and place in jar.

2. take 1 liter of water and mix 100-125 grams of lye.

3. add lye to water and stir.  BE CAREFUL the mixture will get quite hot.  preferably use a glass measuring cup.

4. add water/lye mix into the glass jars carefully so you dont spill any.

5. mix the bark powder and the water/lye mix very well.  almost immediately it will turn black and gooey.  if it seems thick add a little bit of water to it but not too much, if youre going to add an excess amount of water then mix it with lye first.  stir for a good 10 minutes and make sure everything is mixed.  look around the sides and on the bottom to see if there is any bark that has not been mixed in (unmixed will still be purple/pinkish color).  CAUTION: the jar will heat up and get hot.

6. put the jar lids on loosely and let sit for 15 minutes.  take ths time to clean up any mess you just made.

7. add 300 ml of naptha and be prepared to stir.  the naptha should sit on top of the black goo, stir it until the naptha is mixed in and not in a seperate layer.

8. let sit for 2 hours.

9. CAREFULLY pour the naptha off into a glass baking dish.  do not let any black goo make its way in.  whatever cant be poured off can be removed by a turkey baster, suck it up and spit it out.

10. place in freezer for 2-3 hours.

11. while the dish is in the freezer, add another 300-400 ml of naptha to the jar and mix like before.

12. after 2-3 hours remove the dish from the freezer.  pour off the remaining naptha into a jar (a spare pf cake jar works great for this).  place infront of a fan until its dry.  after its dry then scrape up whats in the pan and enjoy.

13. relapse step lol...repeat steps 9 through 12 4-6 times (more if you want).

you can reuse the naptha that you poured off into the extra jar.  you can repeat these steps until you feel youre either not getting a yield thats worth it anymore, or until you run out of naptha.

swim yielded 11.5 grams after 5 pulls in under 48 hours which is fairly decent.  please note that swim also yielded mostly red dmt, which after experiencing with friends, everyone came to the conclusion that it was awesome lol.

its obviously called 13 steps to relapse because its 12 steps (like rehab) then the 13 you repeat (like failed relapse after failed rehab lol) this is for n00bs because its so easy.  after youre finished please call all of your friends and share it with them, theyll love you for it.

sorry no, his digital camera got stolen a few nights ago.  if you look on dmt-nexus about the types of dmt (red, yellow, etc.) the red looks identical to the one in the pic and the tan/orange does too.  the yellow doesnt look quite the same, but did end up with 3 different colors of dmt for some reason.  swim just did another pull and by eyeballing it is estimating at least another gram, and this is all from the same jar.

For some reason, you're getting a lot of the plant/bark material back.  I'm not sure what it is about your extraction method, but the STB tek and pictorial, which generally yields pure product, uses a bit more lye, and a lot less water.  I wonder if that's the correlation.  I'm not saying your stuff isn't sufficient, just different.  If that's the case, then you found a great method for jungle spice.

the amounts are the same as the lazymans tek which was 200g lye for 2000ml (2 liters) of water, pretty much whats happening is the first 2-3 pulls is jungle spice (which is great btw lol) and then it lightens up to "normal" dmt.

But srsly, nice tek,you sure add a lot of naphta and little lye,i would really like to see a definitive answer one of these days on how much is really needed, might have to do some math myself.

well swim did another pull on this for another 2.5 grams, bringing the grand total to about half an ounce.  i would hope this gets big because it works great.

yeah, swim thinks the bark is about spent, barely anything in the last pull from the same jar, but still the yield was surprising.  swim expected about 5-7 grams.
