"Can you be certain, ma'am, that the murder you claim you saw was not just a demon controlling your mind to make you think you saw a murder?"

I'm curious where this might go...

Woman: "Yes I am sure. No demons are controlling my mind."

Descartes:  "Nothing evil?!  For all we know, this demon may be causing you to bear false witness against an innocent man!  How could this not be evil?!"

Woman: "Sir, I can only tell you what I saw. I am but a simple God fearing woman who does as has been requested by the court."

Woman
a. I only accept true and proved information: There are no demons.
b. Unit of truth: I saw a murder.
c. Solving the unit: If i saw someone kill another person then i saw a murder.
d. Conclusion: A murder as been committed.

Nevertheless, my mind could be deceiving me ...

That begs a two fold question:

What is perception and what is reality ?

It will go in circles most likely.

As Descartes would say:

"The first precept was never to accept a thing as true until I knew it as such without a single doubt."  (Quality of perception - mind)

Therefore

"When it is not in our power to follow what is true, we ought to follow what is most probable." (Subjective reality - demons yes/no?)
