 I had 46g of fresh cubensis last night and nothing happened

So I was cultivating P. Cubensis for the very first time. A bought a starter's kit online and after 21 days or so the shrooms are finally looking the way they're supposed to and I'm all excited about taking 'em for the first time. I invite 6 really good friends over to try them with me, and they're all excited 'cause I've been talking about it for a while now, reading them trip reports and such. I harvest them all, wash 'em and put 'em on a plate in front of all of us, forming a pretty good looking pile of shrooms. I start eating the first one and then the person next to me chose the next unit to eat and so on. We did that until they were all gone. We ate about 20 shrooms each, approximately 46g according to my kitchen scale. At a certain point we decided to have some honey with it 'cause the taste was not very good. To make a long story short: nothing happened to either my friends or I - we're all kind of disappointed and wondering what we did wrong. That was yesterday and the most it did to 2 of my friends was to make them somewhat numb, according to them - which in my opinion could well be just the placebo of it.
What did I do wrong shroomery?
ps: the P. Cubensis we took were very thin and tall and curvy throughout the stem. They really looked good.

if you had 46 grams of FRESH shrooms that only makes about 4.6 grams dried if you had split them with 6 friends than you had about not even a gram, so that is why barely nothing happened.

IF it was 46g between 6 people that is only 7.6 grams each.
And dry weight comes out to .7g each, not even a gram.
IF you each ate 46g wet........ I have NO IDEA why you didnt trip. Bad genes?

Yeah man, you would need to eat all 46g wet to get a good high. Shrooms are approximately 10x more heavy when they are wet. So 46g wet = 4.6g dry, which is an OK dose for 1 person.
Get another flush and try dosing yourself again. Grow more if you want to get all your friends high as well.
BTW shroom "kits" aren't really worth it. Just get some spores and do everything yourself.
Start up a bulk grow.

How is this possible when you say that you just passed a plate around and people grabbed mushrooms off of the plate?
Now you are saying you weighed out each persons individual dose?

The amount of mushrooms I seen in that picture is a good dose for 1-2 people. So you're saying you had 276g and put it all on a plate and had people randomly eat mushrooms?
That pic don't look like 276g.
Also, there isn't but ~26 mushrooms in that picture, how did you all eat 20 mushrooms each?

that picture is of one plate, there were 6 plates of this.

mushrooms get the genes from the mother mushroom.
if the mother mushroom was poor genetically then the offspring will be poor.

Dude bottom line to eat that little bit of shrooms is a waste, If you want enough for six people wet i would reccoment somewhere near a pound.

I am going to go with crap shrooms.
Are you all on SSRI meds? some people have problems with getting off on those.
Did you guys eat a CRAP load of food with the shrooms?
still, 46 wet of decent shrooms should have blown your brains out of your head.
P.S. the pics look tasty.
If I had a recomendation to make for a better chance next time..... Skip the growkits. order some spores from one of our sponsers.
It is super easy after the first run thru.
Just follow the directions.
Maybe try to keep the jars/trays/cakes seperated, so you can eat the doses from each grow seperatly and totally 100% eliminate the idea of bad genetics.
Print all the big caps, and then you are in buisness for life.
BTW, bunk shroom grows are not unheard of..... but they are fairly uncommon, most of the time, you get good shrooms, sometimes you get AWESOME shrooms, other times you get weak..... VERY rarely do you get inactive.
Could have just been plain bad luck.
Also, some people are naturally tolerant , but with all 6 of you not tripping..... kinda turns the odds against that theory.
