I cased my jars almost 3 weeks ago now. It had already been 5 weeks since innoculation, and they still werent at 100% so I went ahead anyways. Heres some pics of them now - does it look ok? The camera isnt that good, but in person the white stuff looks very fuzzy, almost like mold. A lot different than what came out of the jars in the first place.
What do you guys think?

Whoa!! That last close-up sure has a strong resemblence to cobweb mold. Does it smell funny or sour? Or like the goodness? I'd put a hawks eye on that one!!!

As long as it doesn't smell horid in the terrarium, like sour and or plain puk-like, I'd begin the pinning process unless you plan on patching that bad boy.

I wouldnt say it smell good, but it doesnt smell like puke or sour milk. Kinda of an odd musk to it I'd say... Up close it diffenetly looks like cobwebs or whatever.
Any other way to tell? Also what could have cause it go wrong? Thanks for the help guys

Pictures can be decieving, but I'm 99% sure that its cobweb, especially the last pic. Sorry man.

man i havnt posted in like 5 months....
look man....put some h202 on a paper towel...dab it onto the spots...if it shows up on the paper towel afterwards you have cobweb mold...if not its just mycelium..

That definetly looks like cobweb. I did the same thing... grew a whole casing full of cobweb.

Id say cobbweb is often miss diagnosed here. I mean it's white, and fluffy and shit so is mycelium. I know it does have a different appearance, I've seen it way too up close. In my own fucking cultivation. But from a shity ass picture like that? Don't give up. Don't throw away your time. Give it a chance. Whats the harm? A little wasted space, and interest.

Grow room. Shit if you have a room as a terrarium I'm jellous. Otherwise just keep it in a seperate terrarium. Which doesn't take up much space at all. A single rubbermaid. Jesus, Asshole factor in effect again.

What about when you fan the questionable terrarium, spores will enevitably be distributed into the air in the Grow Room, and once that happens you will have increased your chances for other grows to be contaminated.
